The scriptures are clear that we who believe on the name of Jesus are more than conquerors through Him! (Romans 8:37) We invite you to join us here at SBC to experience the triumph God has so pre-arranged and ordained for all of our lives. Over the course of the last year God has blessed us to birth over twenty new ministries to help meet the needs of our growing congregation, and the needs of persons such as yourself whom God may be leading to unite with us.
Our 2011 theme, “The Church Triumphant: Marching Together Toward Our Blessed Future with 20/20 Vision”, unveils God’s will and desire for us, and yes you also, to meet every challenge and difficulty and trial with the courage and spiritual insight to emerge in 2011 victorious in all things. God has blessed us to birth over twenty new ministries over the course of the last year designed to help each member of our SBC family walk in triumph.
Our core values of emphasis here at SBC in 2011 which guide our preaching, teaching and ministry are:
• Growth and Maturity- of ministry that produces within and about God’s People spiritual and material growth, maturity, and wellness in every aspect of their lives (Ephesians 4:10-13).
• Hospitality- ministry that invites persons of all ages, backgrounds, races, cultures, and experiences to share in the benefits of being a part of God’s family here at SBC (Luke 14:7-15; Romans 10:13).
• Vision- ministry that helps persons to envision God’s great hopes and future purposes for SBC and for their individual lives, families, and communities in which we live (Proverbs 28:19).
• Love- ministry that invites persons to experience and know first and foremost the love of God which strengthens, encourages, inspires, and heals us; and to follow the path of God’s love as we live and serve (Ephesians 3:17-19; 1Corinthians 13).
