Attention all Boys!!! Boys ages 7-10 years old are invited to join the Cub Scouts and Boys ages 11-18 years old are invited to join the Boy Scouts ask for your assistance in preparing our students educationally. Those who can, please sign-up in the atrium to read to our children once a month.
Great blessings come from loving and nurturing His little ones! The SBC Little Lambs Nursery is seeking volunteers to work during Sunday Worship Service on a rotation schedule for children birth to 3 years old. We are requesting parents with this age children to serve in this ministry; as well as, any one who likes working with young children. The Second Baptist Youth (ages 12-18) meet every Second Sunday of the month immediately following morning worship service. Bro. Deion Lewis, President; Sis. Sophia Howard, Vice-President.

The Thelma D. Chappelle Circle will meet every 222nd Sunday immediately following morning worship service in the fellowship hall.
The SBC Little Lambs Children's Church will be held every third and fourth Sunday from 10:45 am - 12 noon on the lower level. All children ages 4-11 are welcomed & encouraged to come and enjoy a fun-filled time of worship and learning about Jesus Christ. Also, Volunteers are needed to work with the children. The Chappelle Angelic Choir will resume practice on summer vacation!!! We will resume practice on September 13th and sing Sunday, September 20th. Sister Mary King, Directress.

The Kansas City, Missouri branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) has spearheaded it's spring Membership Drive. Several churches (small, medium, and large congregations) are also competing, by June 15, 2011, to sell the highest number of memberships for plaques.
